Summer fun in Indy!

So off to Indy we went for a few days of Hoosier Fun before we headed back north to do some camping in Silver Lake, MI! We were so excited to relax and unwind with the ones we love the most! We had lots planned in the those few days...a trip to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to watch those NASCAR boys...a little tubing action on Lamb Lake.....lounging by the pool at Nana and Papaws...and going to a concert, you may have heard me talk about this guy...JIMMY BUFFETT!!! If you know anything about me....you know I love some Jimmy Buffett! Looking forward to the 2009 show....I'll actually be able to thoroughly enjoy myself! Have a gander at the fun we had!

Here are the kiddo's making donuts with Nana...they absolutely love doing this! I think they actually like eating them a little more than making them, but it all goes hand and hand! Ceili Beili spent the night and slept with Shae like a big girl!
Ty was able to open one of his B-day presents a little early at Nana's! He does believe he is Tony Hawk these days! I was completely surprised at how fast he caught on to doing some "tricks"!

So back home in Indy we have this little racetrack....The Indianapolis Motor Speedway and every August they allow the NASCAR drivers to tool around on it for about 400 miles! Don and I thought what a great place to take the little boy who is absolutely crazy about cars...and Shae got to go to! They had a super fun day...little warm, but that's what's so great about coming back to Nana's...you can cool off in the pool~

So we headed to Lamb Lake and hung-out at the Mennel lodge for the day! Did a little cruising around the lake on the boat and some of the more adventurous and not pregnant folks, went tubing!

Uncle Justin had a lot of responsibility that day! Ty loved going tubing for his very first time! Keira had a blast for about 5 mins swimming around!

Hey Carter...over here!! Here's Shae and her little buddy Carter hanging out on the boat! I love when I see the silliness come out in Shae...she can be so serious most of the time! Few more years around me...watch out!! Here's Shae with Keira's little sun hat on...so cute! Oh yea, that's Keira and I in the background....soaking up the rays!

So Ty might have been a little excited for this early present too! He got a remote controlled boat that actually has a hook and line attached to the bottom....nothing like doing a cruisin and fishin all at the same time! Leave it to his Aunties and Uncles to find that for him!

So the last post brought us up to the first of July....let me continue on and see if I can't get us up to September!

Keira had an absolute blast this year on the 4th of July! Of course any day she can run around with the big kids is a fun day for her! I wondered how she'd be with the fireworks, I shouldn't have worried at all...she loved them! She was doing all the oohs and ahhhs with Mommy and had a great time!

Here's a shot of the kiddos showing their Patriotism! The kids had fun running around, eating Jello jigglers, throwing snap pops and we even had a few rounds of "Red Rover" with the Mommy's! I think all in all it was a fun time for everyone!

I hope I don't cause anyone to have a jealous fit after viewing this photo! Yes folks we splurged on a pool this summer! Okay, so you can blow it up in 20 mins and move it anywhere in your yard....maybe in a few more years we can get a more permanent pool! The kids sure had fun!

So I have found the perfect time to update my blog...the house is quiet, no one is stirring, not even a mouse...what is this the night before Christmas!! Anyway, it's 4 AM, I can't sleep, so why not update the BLOG!!! So here a few shots to catch you up on what we've been doing over the last few months!

It's the little things in life folks! You would've thought daddy was building the house the day he installed the storm door! Ty and Keira thoroughly enjoyed watching daddy and "helping"!

So Mommy and Daddy went to Carb Day this year to have a little grown-up fun! It rained the entire day, but thanks to Uncle Matt's tent tickets we were still able to have a blast! Here's me with my Best Friend from High School on my left and my crazy girl Emily on my right! Why is her hand on my belly....does she know something I didn't yet?!?!?

Dad has Keira convinced that he is the neatest thing in the world! She adores her Nana and Papaw....you can't have one without the other!

And this....this is my nose! Keira can definitely point out every body part she has as well as what you have too! My how the time has flown by with her....I look at her everyday and am amazed at how much she has grown! She has the most adorable personality...she constantly cracks me up!

Here is Ty before his very first practice baseball game! He had a great time playing this year...looking forward to next year!

Hello everyone!!! I am here....let the fun begin! Keira joining the big kids for some fun in the sun in the backyard! This little kiddo thinks she is 8 years old sometimes...anything you can do I can do better!

Here are the girls....the boys were out there too, I must've missed them! This was also the night of our very famous Ice Cream dinner! I now get asked just about every week if we can do that again....yes kiddos next summer!
