Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Well, my sister Jamie said she enjoys reminiscing a couple months later of the fun times we've had. So not to disappoint her....I stay a couple of months behind on my blog! HEHEHE, yeah right...gotta blame it on someone!

Well folks, here's what we did in November....what fun times we had!

If any of you know anything about Ohio State fans, you'll know the biggest game of the year is the University of Michigan game....we're talking major hoopla! We started our Ohio State party last year and decided to give it another shot this year! Don loves this day more than Christmas I believe! We had quite the crowd...added an additional TV in the front room....had more food than we knew what to do with....and a mason jar of moonshine....what more can you ask for!!! Here's a true fan....fell asleep with the football in hand!! Poor Joah, just couldn't keep his eye open!


We went "Back Home Again" to Indy for Thanksgiving and had a very yummy dinner at Nana and Papaw's house. This was Keira and Carter's first Thanksgiving so that was lots of fun! Keira didn't want much to do with the turkey, but did enjoy mashed potatoes and Seafoam Salad!

We headed up to Downtown Indy to watch the lighting of the Tree of Lights. Little chilly this year, but the little ones were real champs and braved the weather!

The first weekend in December we headed up to Chicago for a girls only weekend...okay we did invite Carter along too! We stayed at Auntie A's place with Auntie Mamie and Carter....we had so much fun! We're looking forward to next year when Auntie Holly, Ceili and Keaton can join us! This was Shae and Keira's first time to the Windy City and I am so glad I was able to experience it with them! Shae was adorable checking out all of the big city life...especially her elf imitation crossing the cross walks!! This is definitely a trip I'll be making every year with my girls!
